Cindy Robinson Physiotherapy is a boutique physiotherapy practice located inside of Clinique Multi-Santé (www.cliniquemultisante.ca), in the heart of the Pointe-Claire Village.
Clients enjoy one-hour, one-on-one treatments with a highly skilled clinician in the privacy of an individual treatment room.
Cindy Robinson holds the highest academic qualifications in manual therapy available, a level achieved by only a small group of physiotherapists in Canada (www.manipulativetherapy.org).
The clinic is conveniently located just off of highway 20, and steps from public transportation.
All clients will be thoroughly evaluated in order to develop an appropriate plan of care that is both patient-centred and evidence based.
Therapeutic techniques used may include but not limited to - soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization and manipulation, taping, neural mobilization, active and passive stretching, muscle energy techniques, and exercise prescription.
My focus is on hands-on manual therapy and exercise prescription in order to restore mobility and strength.
Note: This is not an exhaustive list. If you’re unsure whether I can be of help, please contact me to discuss.

Since graduating from the University of Toronto in 2003 with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy, I have gained invaluable experience while working at prominent multi disciplinary sports medicine clinics in both downtown Montreal and Toronto. I have also enjoyed the unique opportunity of working as a resident therapist at Cirque du Soleil's international headquarters, where I continue to work on contract.
In 2007, I earned a Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Therapy from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. As a CAMPT Certified therapist, I am one of less than 5% of physiotherapists in Canada who have completed extensive post-graduate education in the area of orthopaedics and have attained internationally-recognized qualifications in hands-on manipulative therapy. I am also one of few physiotherapists in Quebec who have the necessary training to be certified to perform articular and vertebral manipulations.
I am a registered physiotherapist and a member of the professional Order of Physiotherapy in Quebec (OPPQ), the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA - orthopaedic division), and the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (CAMPT).
My past athletic experiences are what led me to pursue a career in physiotherapy. I take great pride in my personal health and fitness, and love nothing more than helping others lead healthy active lifestyles.
As a mother of three young children, I take a special interest in working with pre- and post-natal women, to manage pregnancy related pain, and to treat and educate in effective and safe exercises.
Be sure to bring comfortable and appropriate clothing for assessment/treatment of the injured area (ie. please bring shorts for a knee injury and a sleeveless shirt for a shoulder injury).
If you happen to have any diagnostic imaging reports or physician notes, please bring them along.
If you are able to do so ahead of time, please download and fill out the 'New Patient Form' (in the FORMS TO DOWNLOAD section below) and either email it to firstname.lastname@example.org or bring a paper copy with you.
You do not need a doctor’s referral to make an appointment or to receive treatment. However, your extended (private) medical plan may require that you have a referral. Make sure to check your policy.
